WSF2018 means World Shakuhachi Festival London 2018
ESS means European Shakuhachi Society
Payment and Billing
The registered PayPal merchant for the purpose of the WSF2018 for payments initiated and processed through this website, or registered bank account holder for payments made by direct bank transfer, is the ESS, the main organiser of WSF2018.
The ESS is a registered charity (No. 1123060). Its Articles of Association are publicly available and can be found at the shakuhachisociety.eu website.
Registration
Please note that you must complete the registration in person at the Festival in order to receive your pass/badge, programme and any other appropriate information.
You therefore need to bring a printout of your ‘Order Completed’ email and a passport size photograph with you to the registration desks at Goldsmiths University of London, or at SOAS University of London if you are attending the Shakuhachi Symposium.
Concessionary Rates
– Full-time students
– Recipients of Job Seeker Allowance/Unemployment Benefit
– Recipients of Disability Benefits
Participants booking the concession rate must show proof of concession status, in a western European language or with believable translation, upon registration in person at the WSF.
Participants booking the ESS members’ concession rate must show proof of current ESS membership, either through their ESS membership pass or number, upon registration in person at the WSF.
Refunds and Cancellations
Please note that there is a 10% administration fee (of the original price) on all cancellations.
Cancellation before midnight (BST) on 01.07.18: Full refund less 10% admin fee
Cancellation before midnight (BST) on 15.07.18: 50% refund less 10% admin fee
Cancellation before midnight (BST) on 22.07.18: 25% refund less 10% admin fee
Cancellation on or after 23.07.18: No refunds available
